Overview
About vulnerability
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu/vcn4: Prevent OOB reads when parsing IB Rewrite the IB parsing to use amdgpu_ib_get_value() which handles the bounds checks. A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s AMD GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) driver, specifically within thedrm/amdgpu/vcn4 component. This vulnerability allows for an out-of-bounds read when processing an Instruction Buffer (IB). An attacker could potentially exploit this to read sensitive information from memory or cause system instability.
